Mother Boy 2011

Josh had a school dance for mother/son or father/daughter or what we called "Mother Boy"

We posed for a few pictures before we left for our night

Then we were off on our double date with our friends Rebekah and Gabe

We went to Red Robin for dinner and then headed to the dance

We had a lot of fun! They had booths with activities and after you went to four, your name was entered into a drawing for $50 to Incredible Johns. There was a cup stacking contest (Josh beat me). We took a survey and tried to see how well we knew each other (he guessed I was 25). We also made a picture frame for our "professional photo" we had taken. After all that we decorated some cookies. We had a great time together and a great time with our double dates. Can't wait for Mother Boy 2012.

The last few months have been busy for our family. I also realized I haven't taken any pictures since Christmas, so we snapped a few shots today.

I promised Josh that once he learned to tie his shoes, I'd buy him some "brand NEW tie shoes!" Well, its been months now and I decided to finally make good on my promise. So on Valentine's day he got his "brand NEW tie shoes!" Josh was also excited to show his class how he can tie his shoes. His teacher has the students demonstrate to the class, then they get a prize. He was very pleased with his accomplishment and new sticky ball.

These boys can't help but show off their moves anytime they get the chance.

Parker was the Star Student at school this week. He filled out a poster with all his favorite things. His favorite animals, dog. His favorite color, orange. What he wants to be, a doctor or nurse so he can take care of babies. His wish... to one day have a Star Wars costume and light saber.

Parker was the first kid to ever bring a sandwich for his special snack. He wanted to take peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for everyone. (I even offered donuts, but no go).
