Preschool Graduation
Today Josh graduated from preschool
Josh was officially the tallest kid 46 1/4 inches. He is happy to be tall, especially since he is one of the youngest. When the other kids say they're 5, he responds with "Well I'm still tall."
Christian, Caleb, Josh, Cole, and William
Their class had 8 boys and they all had fun playing together.
It cracked me up how the boys all started to get interested in each others favorite things.
Christian and Evan love Batman, Caleb loves any kind of superhero (often he showed up to preschool in costume), Cole loves Scooby Doo, and William like Cars. Of course everyone knows Josh loves Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Even his teachers pointed out that many share days he brought some kind of TMNT action figure because it fit with the letter they were working on D- Donatello, A- April O'Neil, etc...
If you notice Ms. Jill is wearing her TMNT shirt Josh made for her as a going away gift.
Over two years these woman have become an important part of our week. I couldn't have asked for better teachers.
Oh and not to be forgotten.... Parker was there too. He played in the sandbox during the ceremony. Watch out Ms. Danai and Ms. Jill, he's all yours in August!
Cozumel
To celebrate Jeff's birthday we went to Cozumel.
I was amazed at how many people they could fit on a ferry.
Then we headed out for snorkeling. It was fantastic. There was this little fish, maybe 3 inches long that loved Dave. He swam right by his side for maybe, 45 minutes. He'd swim along next to his cheek or at his waist. I wish I had a camera to capture it. It was the sweetest thing. I don't know how many variety of fish we saw, but quite a few, even a sting ray. We were able to swim pretty close to the dolphins too. In addition to the fish, there were 3 statues and a canyon to search for.
After a great day on the island, we decided to go out for a steak dinner (at our hotel) and then play some Settler's of Catan. It only seemed appropriate to "let" Jeff win for his birthday. I don't think it happened though. Here some intense action shots from that evening.

Mexico
So, we've done a lot more of this...
Actually, it was Jeff. He really wanted to jump over someone's balcony. Thank goodness it was ours and we were on the bottom
Meet our friend Luis. He is from another state in Mexico and has been working here for two months. He became one of our favorites. He looked out for our group so he could serve us. He couldn't understand why we didn't drink, but he would offer us sodas instead of other beverages. One night he brought us 4 shots of Shirley Temples.
Jeffie was recovering from 12 hours of violent food poisoning. Apparently, it hits 1 in 4. Sorry man!

The guys learned how to sail a hobby cat on Tuesday.
We could see Cozumel from the boat.
