Did someone call a Nurse?

Dave-o did it! He passed his board exams! We are so thrilled with his hard work; not only has he been a dedicated student, but father and husband too.
He took his exam last Thursday morning. We expected his results to post on Tuesday, but when his didn't we were concerned. So, we waited another day. No luck. Then David called and they were still waiting for his transcripts. When he checked this morning I could here a yell from the family room "I passed!" I am so pleased with him. What an accomplishment!
We have been extremely prayerful and feel that he has blessed us greatly!

Snow Fun

Every year, since we have been married, we take a trip to the snow to celebrate our anniversary. This year we couldn't leave our Parker-roni because he won't take a bottle. So... we decided to take the whole family.

It was a blast! Josh is not a climber, but I guess it is different when it comes to snow. He was like our own little Bear Gryllis (for those who watch Man vs. Wild). After he got his snow clothes on he was up a huge pile of snow. He was fearless, even going down the big hill with David.

Parker was perfect too. I bundled him up and he just hung out. Even sliding down the hill with me when he fell asleep. He liked laying in the sled and getting pushed back and forth.

The place we went had two groomed hills and an area for making snowmen. Of course there were some snowball fights, but Josh doesn't believe in throwing snowballs at his mom. (What a gentleman!) So, I was safe.

When we took our lunch break, Parker was out c
old. Check him out in the back of our car. He looks like a doll. Josh enjoyed his turkey sandwich and geared up for some more fun in the snow during his lunch break.

Then after all our fun and snowman making we headed to our hotel. We stayed at the Hampton Inn. Josh and I enjoyed the outdoor hot tub. Then later we all enjoyed pizza for dinner and a good game of Go Fish where we tied with Daddy-o. Our hotel was great and we had a good breakfast the next morning. We enjoyed our little time away. We look forward to next year when Parker can enjoy the snow even more!

Ready, Set, Roll

Today Parker rolled over from his front to his back. Woo Hoo! He almost did it twice in a row. (It could be another month till it happens again. That's how Josh was.) He is very into his hands and fingers right now. They are quite meaty, so I could understand. He started making small dolphin noises this week that crack me up. We started him on rice cereal the day after Christmas, but he doesn't have much interest. We'll give him a little more time. He has a doctor's appt. tommorrow, so we'll check up on all his stats.
